Happy Diwali .........


Diwali -------It is celebrated all over India with lots of enthusiasm. It has various significance mythologically.
In the North India Diwali is celebrated as a home coming of Lord Rama after Defeating Ravana after 14 years of exile. 

In south India it is celebrated as a victory of the divine over the mundane.
The Legend of Krishna defeating the demon Narakasura and freeing the women imprisoned by him is another instance why diwali is celebrated.
In Bengal Lordess Kali is worshipped. For the jains it signifies the attainment of Moksha by Mahavir. Lordess Laxmi to is worshiped for welcoming wealth, honor, and good fortune.

Hectic Tour !

I am back after the hectic tour to Amritsar, Gobindgarh.Khanna and Mohali............Drove around 1200 KMs in 2 days but had fun with colleagues and friends.

Earthquake - Did you felt the tremors.........

Hey tremors were felt in Delhi, Gurgaon and other parts of north India, I didn't felt anything, I was fast asleep.....It was 1 AM . The epicentre of the tremor was at the Delhi-Haryana border at 28.6 N latitude and 77.9 E longitude.
