Is 360 degree marketing dead..??

The new, highly integrated marketing environment simply too challenging, Without doubt, 360 degree marketing is challenging:

It is hard to keep track of creative work, oversee increasing numbers of agencies and ensure messaging is consistent and up to date across the board. And it cannot be managed effectively using the poor tools and processes still endemic across marketing departments. Most importantly the mind set of the people in and around the marketing department as in the today's market every TOM, DICK and HARRY seems to be a Philip Kotler "The Father of Modern Marketing".

But nonetheless, turning away from 360 degree marketing is not an option. These challenges cannot be solved by one, great creative moment. Those days are long gone.
Organizations are no longer in a position to dictate the message to the consumer; to determine just when the message will be delivered and how. Consumers are now self-serving, choosing to access corporate, product and service information as and when required and via a range of channels – from high street to catalogue to online and mobile. Not only is it far harder to reach a large consumer market through one channel, such as the TV ad, but what happens when the consumer opts to follow up the fantastic, innovative TV campaign online, only to find different offers and messaging? A lack of 360 degree marketing not only undermines the strong creative but fundamentally compromises business objectives.

Just an experience to share
Recently our team did a 360 degree marketing for a residential township in Indore and the success made all of us to realize if the approach is correct nothing is more satisfactory than a campaign success. Though the campaign was for short duration but for the 7 days we were round the clock in the market...... (for details contact writer of this blog at - )

Change "from chucker to coach"

Once jeered by Australian fans as a 'chucker', the wheel has turned full circle for Muttiah Muralitharan, as he will now coach the next generation of Aussie players in Cricket Australia's bid to shore up the country's spin bowling stock, according to a report.
The controversial Sri Lankan off-spinner will spend several weeks as a guest coach during an intensive training programme at the Brisbane Centre of Excellence in June. Muralitharan, who has been repeatedly heckled and even had fruit thrown at him by unruly fans since being no-balled by umpire Darrell Hair in the 1995 Boxing Day Test, will become Australia's potential spin saviour, 'Herald Sun' reported today.
Test cricket's greatest wicket-taker, the Sri Lankan will impart the secrets of his craft and videotape a coaching tutorial for future generations of Australian spinners.
Muralitharan's action will be recorded live and downloaded on the Academy's pro-batter video machine so that batsmen can face a "virtual Murali". Batting great Greg Chappell, who is the only full-time national selector, arranged the visit.
"This is a wonderful opportunity ... Murali has probably forgotten more about spin bowling than most people will ever know in a lifetime," Chappell said.
"Murali is one of the greatest spin bowlers of all time, we are very, very lucky. It is not just Murali's obvious physical skill that will be a huge benefit for our young spinners. "It is also his mental toughness, his cleverness, his cunning and his ability to be able to set a batsman up and bowl 10-15 overs to a plan," Chappell was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
The depleted spin stocks are one of the most pressing issues facing Australian cricket, with 10 frontline spinners deployed at Test level since Shane Warne retired at the end of the 2006-07 home Ashes series. Little-known spinners Xavier Doherty and Michael Beer wore the baggy green caps this summer after Nathan Hauritz was sacked before the first Ashes Test.

Safety Tips (Fog is back)

It's the time of the year, when fog is creating havoc in every driver's life. Driving during this time of the night is like driving with a blindfold on. Perhaps the safest bet if you run into fog, is to move off the road and wait till the fog lifts up. But then, is this is practical solution? Perhaps not. Here we give you some tips as how to drive safe during this foggy weather.

Tip 1: Slow down and watch your speedometer - before you enter a cloud of fog. Smoky fog creates a visual illusion of slow motion which can affect the driver’s judgment of speed. So watch your speed0 meter and take control. Most accidents occur because the driver is going too fast in these conditions.

Tip 2
:  Avoid passing or changing lane: It's always safe if you follow the car that is in front of you. Leave your egos home, don’t overtake any vehicle unless it is absolutely necessary to do so.

Tip 3: Roll up your windows and put the heater on the recirculation mode to avoid outside air from entering in your car.

Tip 4: Use the painted road markings as a guide. If you drive close to the painted marks, you will somewhat get to know where is the road leading to.

Tip 5: Use the signal turns well in advance and brake early as you approach a stop.
Keep your windshield and headlights clean to reduce the glare and increase visibility. Use wipers and defrosters liberally for maximum visibility.

Tip 6: If you must pull off the road, signal (people tend to follow tail lights when driving in smoke, then carefully pull off as far as possible.

Tip 7: Put your high beam OFF. People have the tendency to put the beam on, thinking the visibility would be more. High beams direct light up into the fog making it difficult for you to see. Low beams direct light down onto the road and help other drivers to see you.

Tip 8: Remember that other drivers have a limited sight distance and that fog can leave roadways slick. Signal early, and when you use your brakes, don't stomp on them
